According to the Hillary Clinton media post, Former US Secretary of State might be willing to swap a life in politics to lead Facebook, world’s largest social-networking company. She would like to be the Chief Executive Officer because of its power as a media outlet.

On May 25, 2018, the 2016 presidential candidate, Hillary was speaking at Harvard University where she was awarded the Radcliffe Medal. Maura Healey, Massachusetts Attorney asked Clinton if she could be CEO of any company, what would she choose, Clinton didn’t pause before quickly answering “Facebook”.

Hillary Clinton said, “Facebook is the biggest news platform in the world and most of the people across the globe get their news, true or not, through Facebook.” Further, she added, “Now, Facebook is trying to take on some of the unexpected consequences of their business model and for one hope they get it right because it really is critical to our democracy that people get accurate information on which to make decisions.”

Hillary recognized that Facebook is attempting to handle a portion of the “surprising results of their plan of action. Clinton said, “It truly is basic to our democracy that individuals get precise data on which to decide.”

From last few months, Facebook is working to win back its users’ trust following a series of recent controversies involving the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before Congress on data privacy concerns and censorship in April.
