British Multinational and Tata Motors-owned recently reported that it has raised its global sales in the month of May, compelled by its new models including the Range Rover Velar. The company stated that the sales of Jaguar brand of vehicles in May were at 14,507 units, total increment of 6.6 percent.
Jaguar Land Rover Chief Commercial Officer, Felix Brautigam said, “Strong demand for Land Rover vehicles drove our performance in May particularly in the US and UK. The new, award-winning Range Rover Velar was an important contributor.”
JLR’s the latest Range Rover and Range Rover Sports models have been performing particularly well in key markets. The company also expecting a strong demand for Jaguar I-PACE with deliveries starting this summer.
Sources stated that sales for the Jaguar E-PACE also continue to ramp up as the company look forward to retail the compact SUV beginning in China in August. JLR welcomes the reduction in import tariffs while calling China as a key market for the company.
Brautigam added, “Although there has been an initial drop in sales as customers weigh up what it means for them, all indications are that this will be temporary and the move mid-term will further strengthen demand.”
Apart from this thing, Jaguar Land Rover recently unveiled new Jaguar I-Pace at official Spirit Jaguar Land Rover Showroom in Sandyford. However, the 20,000 sq ft. showroom meets the global standard set by JLR in providing a first-class experience.
