Trump Lawyer Raided by FBI
The dramatic news from White House, a furious US president Trump firing back after the FBI raided the home office and hotel room of his long-time counsel Michael Cohen. FBI agents stunned the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen and a starkly aggressive move involving one of Trump’s closest.
The source’s information stated that The FBI agents took Cohen’s electronic devices as well as phones and some of the documents related to his $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in the days leading up to the 2016 election.
Former Justice Department Official, Tom Dupree said, “This is a strike at a person who is close to the US President, who obviously had extensive communications with the US president on some issues that obviously include the great personal interest.
The raids coming just four days after Mr. Trump made his first comments on adult star Stormy Daniels saying he did not know anything about the hash money payments. Stormy Daniels claims she had affair with Mr. Trump in 2006 before he was president. But the White House says the affair did not take place.
Michael Cohen’s attorney Stephen Ryan calling raid completely inappropriate and unnecessary. Stephen said, “It resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney-client communications between a lawyer and his client.”
Cohen has said he tried to resolve Daniels allegations which he says untrue as part of his friendship with US president Donald Trump. But the critics have suggested that $130,000 payment announced to a campaign contribution aimed at helping Trump at elections by keeping the Daniels allegation secret.
